New Adaptive Event!
The HOCR is thrilled to announce the addition of a new event for 2011! Inspired by the success of the LTA 4+ in 2010, the Directors of the Head Of The Charles have decided to add a new adaptive event for 2011: the Trunk and Arms (TA) Mixed 2x. The TA 2x will happen on Sunday morning, following the LTA 4+.
Athletes in the Trunk and Arms 2x have trunk movement but are unable to use the sliding seat to propel the boat due to significantly weakened function of the lower limbs. Full details on both the LTA and TA classifications are available from the HOCR website here.
The winners of the 2010 LTA Mixed 4+ from Capitol Rowing, Inc.
Like the LTA 4+, the TA Mixed 2x will be an invitational event. Interested crews may contact the Adaptive Organizing Committee at adaptive@hocr.org.
